枫下茶话 / 社会 / Anyone know a good charity serving Chinese community that I can contribute to?United Way is running a campaign at my company. I was told I can designate the charity that my contribution goes to. If you are familiar with charities serving Chinese communities, please post information here. I need:
Name of the charity, address, charity registration no. and what programs they have.
Ideally I want to contribute towards a program that helps children of new immigrants.

I want the money to stay in the community and be put to good use. If you have any personal experience with that charity (beneficiary or volunteer), it will greatly help me make my decision.
