给孩子办护照发现有个问题：孩子的短出生证上的certificate number其实是长出生证上的file number,但长出生证上又有一个不一样的certifibate number，搞不清怎么回事了，我该填那个呢

my experience(3 times for 2 kids): I always got wrong one. But it did not matter. The officers corrected it for me 3 times, no complains at all. Now I think should be long form's cerificate #.
