枫叶卡1月底到期，新的还在申请中，中国护照和美国签证都在有效期。想要圣诞节去美国玩几天，不知道过关有没有问题？

If you don't think you will get the new one by then, then you need to request urgent service by faxing them proof of travel.

you can. I used mine on Oct 26 with Nov 1 expiration date. works fine. But now I am screwed, nowhere to go.

when submit renewal application, if old card does not expire, then NOT REQUIRED TO submit along with application. Submit the old one only if it has expired.
