Last night I watched the movie The Notebook which I had been heard of it lots of times before. Finally i watch it on Netflex because of the inspiration given by the music posted here and planned to borrow the novel to read.
Marriage is for only the sake of love. I mean love the person for who he he is and nothing else matters, such as money, wealth, power or class. The movie has an very bitter sweet beginning and a fairy tale ending, so called lived happily ever after. But at the back of my mind, questions raised. How about the years they lived together after they married. Noah belongs to a low class, who earns 45 cents an hour. Allison was from high class family. Of course not all the girls are material girls. The movie focused on the love story and ignored the hard way in it. I can't help but wonder: what movie is going to be for all the years in between the beginning of the marriage and the end of their life?
