Please be advised that there is no requirement under the Canadian Immigration and Refugee Protection Act to purchase a return ticket. However, visitors should be able to demonstrate to the Border Services Officer at the Port of Entry when they arrive that they have the financial resources for the duration of their visit and to depart Canada at the end of their intended stay.

    My parents have received their temporary visas to Canada, now they are buying one-way flight ticket from a ticket agency in China. But the agency asked them if their visas are allowed them to get on board with one-way tickets. -hidenseek(躲猫猫); 2011-1-17 {161} (#6460412@0)
    They said if not they may get rejected to get on board. Does anybody have same experience as this? Whom to ask this question, Canadian embassy or Chinese custom?
