本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛Lynne graduated from high school and completed two college level accounting courses when she decided to pursue further accounting studies with the CGA Program. During her second year on the program she began gaining her practical experience as an Accounting Clerk with ABC Co. Working with both Accounts Receivables and Payables enabled her to secure employment as the Assistant Accountant for XYZ Co. after only 1 year in her former position. As the Assistant Accountant, she broadened her experience with duties such as preparing unadjusted trial balances, maintaining customer sub-ledgers, assisting with payroll preparation and advanced use of ACCPAC. Two years later, Leanne's supervisor left the company and Leanne was promoted to her position as Accounting Supervisor. In addition to her supervisory duties for payroll, receivables and payables, Leanne became responsible for financial statement preparation and interpretation, budget preparation, cash flow planning, and assisting with systems analysis and implementation requirements. After approximately 2 years as Accounting Supervisor, Leanne, having also completed all of her academic requirements, was certified as a CGA. She then left XYZ Co. for a position as Controller with another, larger company and a significantly higher salary.
