Royal bank and 蒙特利尔银行 both have branch in Beijing. 蒙特利尔银行in Beijing can help u apply master card when u are still in China.but they need deposit.(I have 蒙行's account .)Royal will give a visa card without deposit when u reach Canada.but the Royal bank's visa may need annual fee (depand on what kind of visa you choose, the fee will between 0 to $20)

        比如你把5000全放checking 里面， 别人捡了你的支票，开个4000走了， 你就哭吧。我一般是cheching只放500，大额支票是开过了再从saving转钱
