To Jiaozi and other friends who are interested in hotel loyalty programs

Many big hotel chains have their own frequent guest programs, ie loyalty programs. The most valuable ones, in my opinion, are Starwood's SPG (www.spg.com), Hilton HHonors (www.hiltonhhonors.com), Marriott Rewards (www.marriottrewards.com), and Hyatt Gold Passport (www.goldpassport.com). The first three are better because they have a wide range of hotels from the most luxurious ones to the frugal ones.

No matter which program you are in, remember that the more you stay with one particular chain, the better treatment you will get when checking-in. The good program normally set different elite levels for its members - three levels in most cases. Hilton Honors, for example, recognizes you as a Silver VIP after four qualifying stays or ten qualifying nights, or a Gold VIP after 16 qualifying stays or 36 qualifying nights, or a Diamond VIP after 28 qualifying stays or 60 qualifying nights. As an elite member, you will get more benefits such as bonus points, free room upgrade, free breakfast buffet, etc.

But be aware that the room nights you bid from priceline.com are not qualifying stays or qualifying nights, so you will not accumulate any points in your loyalty programs.更多精彩文章及讨论，请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net

      我们再用MARRIOTT, HILTON HHNONORS, STARWOOD. 前者用于PERSONAL TRAVEL, 后两个我用在BUSINESS TRAVEL(公司选定).

      是的, 用了PRICELINE, 就得不到点数了. 但是有一次AIR CANADA FLIGHT, 我从PRICELINE得到的, 还是给了部分点数.

      最近BID得: $48 4*, $35 3*, $40 3*, 我很开心.
