SOS !!!需要帮忙!!

本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛我今天收到一张管理处寄来的通知,上面写着:
the management office has received a report from *** plumbing on May29,2007 stating that the hoses attached to your washing machine was not properly installed,as a result excessive water went down to the suite below causing severe damaged to the ceiling and wall of the entrance washroom room.the management hired a contractor to do the necessary repairs in suite 2910 because it 's ur negligence you are responsible for paying the invoice.

其实管理处派人来看我洗衣机的时候我在场,正如所说的,因为那个接洗衣机的水管接得不紧导致了漏水,但我在这住了两年,一直没发现直到有人上来修,洗衣房很小,就是放一部洗衣机的空间,但是水也从没有从洗衣房溢出来,不仔细看真的看不到,我当时问修理人HOW WOULD THIS HAPPEN,他说,IT JUST HAPPENS.当我问他我以后应该怎么注意时,他说,IT JUST HAPPENS,YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING。
水管不是我接的,我是一手业主,但是我是直接从BUILDER处买来的CONDO,是现房,我入住的时候所有的洗衣机烘干机与电炉冰箱洗碗机都配套好的,也就是说我入住的那一天所有东西都已经齐全。而且接洗衣机的水管是紧贴着后墙的,如果不把整个洗衣机连烘干机搬出来的话是看不到那条水管的。

另外,我有买住房保险的,但是我找出合同来看,上面写着关于WATER DAMAGE方面是如果造成的原因是SUDDEN AND ACCIDENTAL的才理赔。我是否还需要通知保险公司呢?

我不知道应该怎么做,我也不知道对楼下具体有什么DAMAGE,因为我没有亲眼看到,可以站在我的角度给点意见吗。谢谢!更多精彩文章及讨论,请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
