本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛My friend and I were taking Finance II (FIN603) last semester, we have 2 different teachers teaching that course.
His teacher was very easy and distribute high marks (and i do mean really really really high marks) around 95% class average. His teacher told his class what was on the exam and told them what to study, then the exact questions appeared on the exam maybe with different numbers and everyone aced it (95% class average for the mid term). When the final exam arrived, all students in his class were expecting to received an A+ if not an A from FIN603. At the end, when final grades were posted up on Siris, they all got B's if not C+.'s not even a B+ lol. The class average must be maintained around 65% to 70%. You can ask your teachers about this policy, they will never admit it exist, but it's there.
While I studied my pants off for the mid term and received an 80% while the class average was only 66%.
The bottomline is that you must stay at least 15 to 20% above YOUR class average if you want to receive an A+ or A. This is not the case for my friend, becuase his class average was 95% and there is no such thing as 110%.
That is the 3 years of experience at Seneca College's ACF program in term of mark distribution. This semester I did not expect to receive so many A's lol because I think those courses were hard in the final semester and I was getting only 75% but the class average was only 60% in most of my courses.更多精彩文章及讨论,请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
