You have to look at the prerequisites as EAC150.

dota(MCC)

For example, EAC220 Canadian Literature the one I took. Students must have completed EAC150 in order to take EAC220. If other courses such as EAC482 Cyberworld have higher in number (which doesn't matter becuase it's still a regular gen ed course). It's prerequisite is EAC150; therfore it's qualified as literature option.

Literature option means your general education elective must have course code starting with EAC or SES of which EAC150 must be its prereuisite. I bet you took 2 general education courses; none of them are literature. -dota(MCC); 2007-4-28 (#3641803@0)

you may choose 2 Gen ed from the same Category as long as one of them is a literature course. Just aviod choosing from category 2 because it's social science in nature and the ACF program already have ECN501 and ECN502 as social science. If you choose courses from category 2, it defeats the purpose of Generalizing the education lol.

I choose both of my Gen ed from Canadian studies, I believe it's category 3 and one of them is literature and I seem to graduate fine.
