ACC415 = Intermediate Accounting I
ACC517 = Intermediate Accounting II
These 2 courses in the School of Accounting and Finance are pretty hard.
So even you are accepted into the Accounting and Finance program, if your CGPA at the end of first year is below 3.0/4.0 you might be asked to transfer to the 2-year Accounting (ACC) program. To advance to the second year of Accounting and Finance (ACF) you will need to maintain a CGPA of 3.0/4.0. ACC415 and ACC517 are only available in the second year of ACF program, ACC students do not need to take in dept courses such as ACC415 and ACC517. Normally people who failed ACC415 and ACC517 are asked to transfer to the 2-year ACC program.

申请了seneca的accounting and finance,现在上成人高中,本人国内大专,所以高中给转了26学分,从2月上的学,6月底毕业,中间仅仅take 了english grade 12,accounting,olc等,没有上他的mathematics,现在seneca来了通知要考english , math,因为english 12达到了seneca的要求所以免考英语,但还是我要参加math考试,请问有经验的大虾,我必须参加math考试吗?难道仅仅没有take高中的 math课程,我就必须得交40参加math考试?

I didn't think Seneca have strict policy in term of admission. It's best to ask the administration, they are nice; however, our student advisor isn't as friendly as them. As mentioned by my program coordinator, the second year's ACC415, and ACC517 are full of females. Most students disapeared after ACC415 I wonder why.

hmm if you are able to pay $1,250 per semester, how is $40 considered to be material? Each text book will cost $100+tax on average. I am sure you have other ways around it, ie: borrowing from other people or the library or photocopy (photocoping is dangerous as some books are written by the same professor you have).
If you think $40 is a lot, wait until you are enrolled in the program. oh boy, will you be surprised.

Are you going for part time or full time? When i applied for ACF full time 3 years ago, I don't recall from paying $40 for taking the English and Math test. everyone needs to take those tests even students graduated from high school in Canada with OAC English and Math. Students who transfered from University to College are also required to take those tests.

Once you enrolled, If you don't pay your tuition fees in full, you will not be able to see your grades or be able to graduate.
