2005年9月7号 移民局收到我们的入籍申请
We started processing your application on November 10, 2005.
05年11月开始处理
Your file was transferred to the Scarboro Citizenship office on February 3, 2006. The Scarboro Citizenship office will contact you if additional information is required. The Scarboro Citizenship office will contact you regarding your citizenship test once all the necessary checks on your file are complete.
06年2月3号转到local
We sent you a notice on March 3, 2006 to ********, Ontario, Canada, *** *** to appear and write the citizenship test on March 20, 2006 at 4:00 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, please contact us.
06年3月20号参加公民入籍考试，之前妈妈临时突击过公民考试题目，她能看一些基本的关键词和大概意思，我也不太清楚到底是她没有通过考试，还是由于听力和口语不好，fail了那个基本口语对答，考试完迟迟未收到宣誓通知。我从5月份到11月之间共打过3次电话给移民局，查询状态。接线员表示我的考试和申请都没有问题，但妈妈需要见judge，但不肯透露是否fail了考试还是fail了基本的英文对答。我的file和妈妈放在一起申请，导致我的申请也受到延误。他们也不知道到底需要多长时间安排见移民官。就让我耐心等待。期间在一个和善接线员的建议下，我还递交过一份拆分file申请，就是申请把我和妈妈的file分开，单独处理我的，但被拒。（在此，谢谢rolia网友larry帮我耐心proofread这份file separation application）

2006年11月底收到通知，妈妈需要见移民官，收到信的时候 距离见judge的日子只有短短一个礼拜，妈妈的英文有限，会一些基本的单字和会话，于是临时突击，我用录音笔录下来了30道基本会话题（我自己念的，问题有姓名 年龄 家庭住址 电话 婚姻状态 有几个孩子 工作情况 为什么来加拿大有没有离开过加拿大 期间去过哪儿旅游等等），我妈很认真的每天晚上跟着读。
面试移民官当天 我要上课不能陪我妈去 我弟去了 当天移民官是个好人 非常nice 不但让我弟陪同 而且可以翻译 就是不能帮忙回答 妈妈也很争气 弟弟回来汇报 虽然妈妈的英文非常不流利 但是勇气很可嘉 移民官其实不想为难任何人 只要你尝试着用英文去回答 他都报以鼓励的神情和微笑 最后当场宣布顺利通过面试。
问题有三大张纸，除了以上那些基本的会话以外，还有问及报警电话是多少，附近的医院在哪儿等等。面试过程没有涉及那些政治历史地理入籍考试题， 所以我想06年3月份入籍考试当天，我妈并没有fail考试，而是fail了很短暂的那个面试对话。

昨天和妈妈一起参加宣誓，顺利拿到公民身份，没有太大的感觉，就是以后可以申请政府的工作了，这是最大的一个好处。还有就是可以不用签证去很多国家了吧，但是回国就麻烦了。
