Did your previous classmate had taken other F/T postsecondary program before his 1st academic year in your school? It is one of eligibility requirements of bursary.

In the second pape of OSAP application, you have to answer if you have ever taken any postsecondary study before and when was that; if you say yes, the question about bursary will show up in the page after previous school information. If you have finished 60% of previous program, you will be automatically considered for the bursary (the system choose YES automatically), but Millienmium Scholarship Foundation will determine your eligibility lately. You will see the result later when you check your status online.

That's all I know, suggest you go to visit OSAP website, you will get more info there about different kind of bursaries.

If it is your first postsecondary academic year or you has passed the deadline for application, you won't be able to qualify for this, as I know.

income is the key issue.
A: You have already completed one semester and you are currently full time student
B: If A applies to you and if you have no income at all then you will get the busary for sure if you you have cheked the busary option when you filled your OSAP application before the deadline. The deadline is used to be Sept 10. I don't know if this has been changed.
