That day before i took the writing test, the officer asked me did i leave canada before, and i said yes.

she asked how long i stayed in china, same like you, 10 month. then the officer hold my passport and told me after i take the test i will see another officer.The another officer asked me lots of questions regarding my stay in china and other things. She asked did i work in toronto during these 3 years, i said yes. and she wrote every thing i said on a paper. she is very confused why i left canada just one day after i submitted my application, i said i visit my parents. and lots of questions, finally she asked me do i have some plan of go back to china after i take the test, i said no, but actually i left the next day. and i said lots of good words for canada and so on. finally the officer said i will be noticed for the oath in 5-8 weeks.

我5月27日从中国飞到TORONTO。5月30号在TORONTO DOWNTOWN考的试。在考试之前，被问到上次离开加拿大日期及长度。我答近10月，（我是在递了表后回的，连续住满了3年）那工作人员在试卷后附的那页文件上记录了“IN CHINA 10MONTHS，ARRIVED MAY 27TH“。考完后第二天即飞回中国。不知你有没遇到此情况。

i think your case maybe you will be asked to see an officer. I saw the officer just after i take the test the same day. I got the notice for oath is 6 weeks after the writing test. -marylica(Mary); 2005-6-27 (#2369098@0)
