ARCHITECT -PART 5

本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛One of the most important and difficult parts of intern program is the ARE (The Architect Registration Examination). It assesses candidates for their knowledge, skills, and ability to provide the various services required in the practice of architecture.

The ARE is prepared by NCARB (The National Council of Architectural Registration Boards) and has been adopted for use by all 55 U.S. member boards and the Canadian provincial architectural associations as the registration examination required of all candidates for architectural registration.

Successful completion of the A.R.E. is one of the requirements for licensure in Ontario. The A.R.E. comprises nine divisions covering various critical aspects of architectural theory and practice, as follows:
• Pre-design
• Site Planning
• Building Planning
• Building Technology
• General Structures
• Lateral Forces
• Mechanical & Electrical Systems
• Materials & Methods
• Construction Documents & Services

Preparing those exams actually provides exceptional opportunity for us to review our past experience, to renew our knowledge set, to familiarize many terms used in this profession. It will pay off after all the time you spent.更多精彩文章及讨论,请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
