    First day:
    Start from Toronto at 7:30 am, highway 401, 402 to Sarnia(USA-Canada border); In Michigan, 69 to Flint then 75; Exit at 136 of highway 75, around 1:00 pm, On the highway left is shopping paradise Prime Outlets Birch Run which boasts 170 brand name stores. on the highway right, you will find Frankenmuth City (德国小镇) and stay one night in Saginaw

    Second day:
    Still highway 75, heading to St. Ignace or Mackinac Bridge; Take ferryboat to Mackinac Island at Mackinaw City or St. Ignace at about 11 am; Go north and discover Superior Lake at Whitefish point. Around 7 pm, go through USA-Canada border to get to Sault Ste Marie to relax in your hotel.

    Third day:
    A one day wilderness train tour enables you to enjoy superb scenery while taking an old-fashioned train ride to Agawa Canyon. The trip terminates 114 miles north of Sault Ste. Marie, in Agawa Canyon, the very heart of Algoma country, where a two hour stop over provides you with the opportunity to photograph the many waterfalls and rocky cliffs

    Last day:
    Start from Sault Ste Marie at 7:30 am, along Trans Canada 17 to Mckerrow, and get Espanola. To whitefish fall to get Manitoulin Island , after travel around island, then go south to get South Baymouth and take ferry to Tobermory of Bruce Island.               我是看了timhaha贴的 "美丽的 Michigan 蓬莱岛(Mackinac Island)! A wonderful 4 days travel " 心痒痒,才萌念起去Mackinac Island 的.当时没看到'看今朝'的 "4 Days Travel Plan: Mackinac Island, Agawa Canyon and Manitoulin Island ",翻开地图看, 觉的Agawa Canyon and Manitoulin Island 可能也好玩,但担心行程太紧时间可能不够,本菜鸟没camping经验(有开车2天流览CHICAGO,DETROIT,WINDSOR,LONDON经历,一个字,累!),只计划开车去,住 MOTEL, 还没细研究 TRAIN 和 FERRY 的SCHEDULE,也相信人多点更好玩, 出外玩,更重要在心境. 或好"色"之徒们行前聚一聚,行程或许有变更不定,
              初步定在长周末前3号出发7,8号回来,目前只我和LP二人,我们的车较小后座3人长途可能嫌挤,也许租个VAN会好些.如果能号着来两三部车可能更好.但长周末好不好租车还不知.考虑到长周末塞车的原因决定先由HWY400北上
              当天晚宿SAULT STE MARIE,最后一天由美国回来,途径德国小镇和那个OUTLET MALL. Michigan 蓬莱岛(Mackinac Island)是一定要去,但SAULT STE MARIE的北上旅游列车的时刻表还没见到,还不一定成行,另外Manitoulin Island和Bruce Island 的FERRY SCHEDULE也未获知.
              诸位有什么好的想法或提议请多多发表!!! 或报报名看能不能凑两三部车,十多号人,关于BUDGET,我想如不租车,除了油钱就是M/HOTEL,FERRY FEE,平摊下来应该花不了几个钱吧!我想本周末感兴趣的朋友找个地方聚聚就可以定了,如何?更多精彩文章及讨论，请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net

      when i planed trip for fall, I checked both timhaha(美丽的 Michigan 蓬莱岛) and tintin168 (三下雷湾之丁丁爬鹰愁涧), they are very good references. the reason i want to go after Sept 15 is better chance to see maple leaves.usually from sept 15 ~ oct 15 , and I have never been there before but my workmates said very nice even lots of driving. Are you ready ? i am not sure for last day it seems bit tight ! who had experience before? I still not change my plan. we are couple with one kid and
