the t5725 has two features which the t5625s do not have, that is:
- interference eliminator codes: t5725 has 14 channels and each channel has 38 interferenece eliminator codes. while the t5625 has only 14 channels and no interference eliminator codes. therefore the t5725 has more channels to help minimize interference with other FRS users.
- VOX capability: t5725 has VOX capability which allows you to transmit hands free by talking while using VOX accessories (eg. head sets) connected to the radio. t5625s do not have VOX capability.
