Mt. Tremblant is a National Park about 134 KM from Montreal , 780 KM from Toronto. It is a large park , a little smaller than Algonquin. The highest in Laurentides Mountain ( About 800 M high ). There are a lot of lakes,river, trails and animals.
You can play golf or camping, hiking, canoeing in the summer time. it is also very beautiful in the auturm time as the maple leaf turning gold......In winter time, It becomes the largest ski resort in Canada East. A lot of people come from Quebec, Ontario or USA.
We plan the 2 days trip. Leave Toronto about 3 PM in the Friday afternoon.
401-Hwy 20- Hwy 15- Hwy 125 . Arrive to Tremblant about 12PM. Staying in the Hotel International( similar YMCA . It is suitable for young people about 30 $ /per day. You can cooking there and there is a nice bar in the hotel, Talking with French MM )
This is the first time we guys go to the Internatinal Ski Resort. Get up at 8AM in the Sat.morning and go to the Mountain. Sarting the ski. It is about 4-10 times long in trail compare to Blue Mountain. You can ski down to the South Slope and North Slope. There are about 80 trail all together.. WOW.
The snow is nice and there are some fog on the slope all the time. Everybody like a Daxia or Shen Xian. The longest trail about 6 KM to go down. Most trail is not very difficult. But we found one cliff and know later it is a two diamond trail. But I do not want to godown here.....
There are some snow on the Sunday Morning and the snow is even better. I found a good trail on the North Slope which you can ski very fast and practise the skill. Very few people here so you do not need to worry about hitting somebody. Oh , Yeah.......
We had to leave Tremblant about 4 PM on Sunday and go back home. We know we can also control the speed and ski very well in the International Standard Ski Resort too. It is a neat trip!!!! Onnnnn .
