大家看看我如何修复因非本人原因引起的不良信用记录:多伦多-和FIDO多年前的一些误会。

本人因1999年在多伦多的Fido公司开户参加了一个每月二十几个加元的通信计划,后由于我已买离开加拿大多伦多去中国2000年二月二十八号的机票,我于200年二月二十二号联系Fido公司,请求他们在二月二十九号关闭我的移动帐户,Fido服务代表告知:“若我在二十九号前,不打电话给他们确认,他们将在二十九号关闭帐号”。然而,我得移动帐号当天二十二号便被Fido公司关闭了。于是我又致电Fido公司,开通我得移动帐号,请求他们二十九号关闭,Fido第二位服务代表告知:“只要我致电告知他们关闭帐号,他们便可以关闭”。然后二月二十八号在我离开多伦多去机场的路上,我通过电话查询了帐户欠费,申请关闭。在多伦多国际机场,我通过邮局寄去了最后一次支票一百多加币。我回到了国内。

2003年12月16日我从中国又回到加拿大多伦多,19日我通过EQUIFAX查询了我得历史信用记录,想申请加币信用卡,谁知有一条不良信用记录说:我有在2003年1月时被FIDO公司报到EQUIFAX欠他们135加币(2000年三月到八月的计划费用及利息)未支付的不良记录。

2003年12月月底,我联系了FIDO公司,服务代表告知:“前面两次的联系内容他们都有记录属实,就是最后一次查帐户最终费用和关闭帐户的请求记录没有,而且他们确认在2000年二月底收到我从机场寄出的支票一百多加币,所以他们没有关闭我得移动帐户,直到2000年八月,因连续欠费五到六个月,人无从查找,才关闭移动帐户。后又到2003年一月FIDO会计部因这笔长期欠费无从联络本人,才把这个不良信用记录报上EQUIFAX信用机构,直至现在共欠费200多加币(2000年三月到八月的计划费用及到现在的利息共计)。他们因为从记录上,无法查出我于2000年二月28号的关闭帐户的请求为由,而且说既然这记录都报到信用机构了,无法撤回,已经超出他们会计部可操作的范围,无能为力,只好让我直接联络信用机构EQUIFAX,支付这笔费用并请求他们修复信用记录,因为并非是我故意消失而不想支付这笔费用,而是FIDO公司和个人之间的误解才造成的结果”。

然而,我想不支付这笔费用而修复信用记录。我得理由是:第一、因为当初2002年二月二十二日时,我要求FIDO给我在二月二十九日关闭帐户,而他们却给我在当天二十二日就给关闭掉了,从而引起了这公司与个人之间的误会。第二、我确实在二月二十八日,打电话给FIDO公司的自动语音提示系统,查询过最后的费用并申请关闭,然而他们却没有记录,要不然我怎么知道我最后一个月的费用并邮支票给他们呢?

各位专家或同样经历者请续高见:我到底该不该付这笔费用?而且增样修复我的信用记录。否则我申请不了加币信用卡,我在多伦多的生活就不方便了。

跟EQUIFAX联系过了,他们说即使我交了这笔欠帐,这个不良记录仍然会在我的信用记录里留六年,只有FIDO可以把它撤掉。

今天我刚跟FIDO的服务代表和他们的General Manager联系过了,服务代表倒是表示满理解的这里存在着彼此之间的误解,但他无能为力,然后和他们的Manager联络,但他们的manager强调在二月二十八号,他们没有任何记录表明我有要求终止,而且我有表示可能我记不起来了,但我确实有寄过支票和要求过终止,但他强调我不是和他们客户服务的代表交流的话,那就表明我没有要求过终止,他们无能为力(而且态度很坚决)。
不过我已把这次联络,全部电话录音下来了。 所以寻求帮助!。。。。

同时,我也正在给FIDO的complain division写信要求他们撤回记录,不过不知能不能成功?更多精彩文章及讨论,请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net

      • Use 帐单, you should have received them until Aug. There should have detail call transaction log. Good luck!
    • 别的问题不清楚,一种解决办法是和fido协商,pay in full你的欠帐,条件是他们给你撤销不良信用记录。通常他们会接受这样的条件的。
      • 不行啊,FIDO会计部表示这笔帐已经到了催债公司了,他们也处理不了啊!!无法改动。
        • 没关系,collect agency通常会和你联系的。如果你钱没问题的话,你可以和collector讨价还价,争取对自己最有理的条件。
          别忘了一定要求如果付清帐款,他们一定要从信用部门撤回你的不良信用记录等等。具体看你的技巧了。

          然后在和fido协商,如果他们认为是他们的责任,他们在反钱给你。
        • 没贴上。还是他们的借口,如果他们确认是自己的责任,他们完全可以从collect agency拿回你的file的。但是坏的信用记录会不会就此撤掉就不确定了。你还是接着complain吧。
          • 好像和collector谈没什么用处,因为他们不可能撤掉不良记录。最多也就给你免点钱。不过这钱也没多少总共135刀。

        • Few tips for you. Always record business communcations, the name of the person, date & time, and on what regarding. Write your cancellation notice on the cheque! If they cash the cheque they can not deny notice.

      • Did you call FIDO using your FIDO phone on Feb.28? If you did,
        then your FIDO bill or (FIDO itself) should have a call list showing what numbers you called on which day and at what time. Based on this, you should be able to show them that you did call FIDO on Feb 28. Regarding the content of your phone call, they are also suppose to have the record, because it was a customer service call, especially it was a voice message, just like what we always get ' your call may be recorded for quality purpose.....' whenever we call the customer service center nowadays. Good luck.

But you know the manager of FIDO customer repeated for so manay times that they don't have any record about my call back for an termination. she said only alive line with representitive he can shut the account and can have the record of my call. Otherwise what I called is not the propery channel. So they can do nothing for me. That is my troubles I have got.
    • 我也有类似的事,莫名奇妙就收到收数公司的信说欠FIDO一年的手机费。联系FIDO也说跟他们已没关系,至今连一份帐单都没有。我也不准备付这笔帐。不知如果影响到信用到小额法庭去告怎么样?
      • 这么小的case告的话要花不少律师费哦,至少比你的case标的要多出两到三倍。
        • 小额法庭不用请律师,自己去就行。交几十块审理费。其实几百块不是大问题。关键不愿给FIDO敲诈。不知为什么信用结构只凭这些公司单方面的要求就可以随便给人弄上不良记录。

      • 我觉得他们一定有电话记录的,如果没有也是他们的问题,你就要不断的找他们,找manager,写信,可以写给总经理,表明的你的立场直到他们解决问题
      • 建议先付款再打官司,否则官司输了,信用就惨了。在北美不能拿自己的信用开玩笑。一两百块钱其实是小事。到时候,不能贷款买房,或者给你长一个百分点什么的,就不是一两百块钱了。

      Hi everybody,
      Happy new year! I ever wrote a formal letter several days ago by registered mail to FIDO Presindent Office. The secretary of FIDO Presindent Office call me today and apologize the mistakes and the misunderstanding between me and FIDO. So they will move the bad record out of my credit history only pay them 10 bucks more(not the $135 which I need not to pay). That's all.
      Thanks to the FIDO President Office solving this problem so quickly, I thought I should wait for few moths.
      I feel so happy, that is a good start of my life in TORONTO.

        I was a consumer of your company 3 years ago, some reasons you made a so sorry mistake that I got a bad credit record. You must help me solve the problem now! I’m feazed by the bad credit record, because I can’t get a credit card from any financial institution in Toronto when they saw the record from my credit history. The EQUIFAX said that even I paid that sum of money $135, this bad credit record still would stay in my credit history for six years, and only MicroCell could move this record out of my credit history. I’m a decent Chinese young man with Bachelor Degree and nice job history and ever own a golden RMB credit card in china. Now my normal life in Toronto is totally destroyed by this bad credit record. I need your company’s help to solve this problem.

        Dear Sir or Madam: You can find all my account’s record in your customer service system by my SIN: xxx-xxx-xxx.

        On the Jan. 6th, 2004, I called FIDO customer service and know the things why and how happened from the FIDO customer service representative’s record and my past memories. Then I tried to contact with FIDO customer service’s general manager to make a solution of moving the bad record out of my credit history. But the manager’s attitude is uncompromising and she emphasized so many times that they have no record about my request of closing the mobile account on the Feb. 28th, 2000 and even I had called them that I called is not the properly channel, only alive representative line can shut the account, so they can do nothing for me.

        But my explanation is: Things are quit clear that first of all the mistake is made by FIDO customer service representative, because they shut my account immediately not as my asked for shutting at Feb. 29th, 2000 and also not as they promised that if I didn’t call them before the Feb. 29th, 2000, they will shut my mobile account after the Feb. 29th, 2000. FIDO customer service just shut the account at the same day Feb. 22nd, 2000. That is why I called them again in same day for opening my account because I need to use the mobile service during Feb. 22nd, 2000 to Feb. 28th, 2000. I do remember that I called the FIDO auto answer system to check the balance and ask for a termination when I left on the road to Toronto international airport in the TAXI on Feb. 28th, 2000 and I also sent a cheque as the last payment of the February in Toronto international airport’s post office. But there are no records at FIDO customer service system on Feb. 28th, 2000. Then probably my misunderstanding happened because I still trust the first FIDO customer service representative’s words or not called the properly channel of FIDO customer service for asking a termination.

        Dear Sir or Madam just imagine when a guy he found a job in china and left Canada and he terminated the TV cable, the firm phone line, the Toronto star account, would he just keep the mobile phone account alive forever? There must have a misunderstanding between FIDO and me. Even if I want keep my account alive forever would I pay the last payment and not to pay later monthly payments? Because you known that any call form China main land is very expensive, would I just use the mobile account as my voice message box? And the record of FIDO customer service said that I didn’t use any service of this account after my leaving and until shutting.

        All those not indicate that I’m the person without credit in this modern society. I wish FIDO or MicroCell will move my bad record out of my credit history. I do need a normal live in Toronto just like you are. Any responses please use the contact information I listed above the letter.

        Several days ago, I just bought a new SIM card from FIDO Company and I’d like to use FIDO company service again even this bad thing had happened. I’m the faithful user of your company and I hope your company’s response will not break my heart again. Thanks.
