always wear sun cream/sun glasses. it's better to bring a bottle of eye drop. if you swim, don't forget your back.
drink only bottle water. drink a lot everyday. never touch water in wild field.

Never try to take photos of Marsai without authorization.(no kidding, you will have big trouble).
In Arusha, don't talk with the peddlers on the streets or show your interests in their goods hung on their hands if you don't want to buy. They will stick on you for a whole day no matter where you go. If you want to buy something, try to bargain with them and lower the price to 30% of original. (wrap your sculpture very well before get on plane)
