本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛Greetings from the University of Calgary! We have received your
application for the ELF + DEGREE Program at the University of Calgary
for Fall 2003. The first step is the evaluation of your present level of
English language proficiency. You have submitted documents that
indicate that your proficiency is below the required level for the ELF
Program. On this basis, your application for admission to the ELF
Program cannot be considered at this time.
If, however, you are able to meet the proficiency requirement by
presenting a satisfactory standardized test score to the Admissions
Office, your application can still be considered for the Fall 2003
semester. For your information, the proficiency requirement is met by a
TOEFL score of 220 on the computer-based test, 560 on the paper-based
test, or an IELTS score of 7.0.
Since the ELF Program is not designed to offer instruction in English as
a Second Language, we recommend that you seek such a program that will
strengthen your English proficiency. When your English is strong enough
to take an English for Academic Purposes program, like the ELF Program,
you are invited to apply again. At that time, please include details of
the further activities that you have participated in since this
application.
Thank you for your interest in the University of Calgary's ELF + DEGREE
Program. We look forward to hearing from you in the future.更多精彩文章及讨论,请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
