My dear friends, I have some questions about UA and graduate study in Civil Engineering. I heard from UA today concerning my conditional acceptance by UA as a Probational Graduate Student (Thes). Also I am required to obtain a GPA of 3.0 or better with no grade less than C+ in the four courses you complete in the Fall Term 2003.
Then I am worried about the following question:
1. who has the same experience as a probational student, it is difficult or easy to meet the requirement?
2. Is it too heavy workload to take four course in one term as a freshman.
3. Is it possible to get financial assistant from the department after the probational term?
4. How about the normal expense every month in Edmonton?
Especially I hope to contact with the graduate students in dept. of Civil Eng., wish you guys to give me a hand!
