2002年圣诞节后,在Wal-Mart买了一台随身的CDPlayer,本来是准备用在汽车上的,买回来之后,用了一段时间,觉得一个人在开车的时候,特别是在高速上,用这个东西实在是不方便,所以就准备退掉,想不到在网上发了一个询问能否退货的帖子,还引起了几个网友的小小意见相左,所以,在下把自己的经验写出来,大家就不用争论了!
首先,这个CDPlayer对我来说,有两个问题:
1、如果为了省点电池的费用,最好的方法是使用CDPlayer自带的接汽车点烟器的外接电源;但是,由于我汽车的点烟器正好就在我的汽车档位的活动范围内(外接电源插上后,我的汽车就像多了一个换档器。)只要换档,一定会碰到外接电源,一碰到,CDPlayer就断电,如果想继续听歌,就要重新Player一次,开车的时候弄这个,太不方便。解决方法,买了4颗充电电池,一个充电器,不再使用外接电源,直接使用电池。问题解决!
2、听歌的问题,本来买这个CDPlayer看重的就是他能够播放MP3,没想到,播MP3也有不方便的地方,一张MP3的碟子,几百首歌,每次开车,只能听前面几首,开车的时候换歌,和重新Play一样,很麻烦,影响行车安全,所以用了几次也觉得很麻烦,不如听广播换台方便。
鉴于上面的两点不方便,所以,心里就有了打算,希望能够使用一次客户的权力——退货,来加拿大之后,一直听很多人说,加拿大退货方便,可惜,买了不少东西了,但是还从来没退过东西,为了试一试退货的感觉,所以下了决心。
但是,长这么大,就算是在国内也没退过几次货,而且,算算时间,已经买了快两个月了,自己也感觉时间有点长了,不知道可不可以,所以,偷了偷懒,先到Rolia上喊了一嗓子,结果,有的哥们说可以,有的哥们说不行,对我来说,还是个不确定,看样子是不能偷懒了,自己到Wal-Mart的网站,查!以下就是查出来的信息:

Media: CDs, DVDs, audiotapes, videotapes, video games and computer software must be returned unopened within 45 days of receipt.
Books: Books must be returned unused and unmarked within 45 days of receipt.
Table Games and Treadmills: Oversize table games and treadmills must be returned within 30 days of receipt via ground freight. Please call Customer Service at 1-800-966-6546.
Perishables: To return perishable items, such as flowers and food, please call Customer Service at 1-800-966-6546.
Mattresses: Mattresses must be returned within 90 days of purchase. Please call Customer Service at 1-800-966-6546 for further instructions.
Oversize Items: Some heavy or large items that are identified as oversize on their item description pages must be returned via ground freight. Please call

If you were sent an incorrect, damaged or defective product, we will issue credit for any applicable shipping and gift wrapping charges.

上面写得很清楚,90天内,电器,能退!
我的东西,六十天还没到,用也只用了不到5次,一切都很新的一样,就连包装当时也是很小心的拆开的,我这个人用东西就是这样;当年在大学,用随身听,同屋的随身听,才买一年,看起来就很旧了,我的用了两年多,不说,别人还以为是新的。
一切都check了之后,我想是没问题的了,正好,Spring Break来了,人也有空了,今天中午,开车到了Cambridge的Wal-Mart。
一进门,一个矮矮的老头,看了看我的样子(我手上拿着按原样包装好的CDPlayer,也不知道他是怎么知道我是来退货的,看来经验就是经验),就问我“Do you want reture?”“Yes!”接着,他就在我拿的盒子上贴了一个小标签,并示意我到Consumer Services那边排队,排了一会队,就到我了,拿着东西,直接告诉他,“I want refund this.”同时,给他我的Receipt,“This have some problems?”,我告诉他没问题,只是我觉得它不适合我的车,他说了句OK,就退给了我现金,拿了现金,一切搞定!
一切都这么简单,自然,更本就不需要那么多理由。通过这件事情,又让我对Wal-Mart增加了一点好感,买了东西,不合适,不喜欢,就去退了,自要自己问心无愧,又有什么问题呢。希望以上的经验,能给其他朋友一点提示,其他地方的退货问题,我想是类似的,大家自己查查网站的条例就知道了。更多精彩文章及讨论,请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
