Remove the Fuses or turn of the circuit breakers for the wall plug.

Take the plug out of the wall and check the colours of the wires.

Match the colours of the new plug to the old plug.
W = White

X = Red or Black (Hot Wire)

Y = Red or Black (Hot Wire)
